Oriental Materials in Singapore seeks an experienced GPU System Architect to define and prototype the architecture of next‑generation GPU products, leading microarchitecture decisions across compute, cache and memory subsystems, and AI compute pipelines with clear ownership of performance, power and area targets.

The architect will drive the product from architectural definition and performance modeling through FPGA prototyping, hardware‑software co‑verification, and implementation support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Microelectronics, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 10 years of relevant industry experience in architecture design for high‑performance GPUs or related accelerators.
• Strong foundation in computer architecture and GPU operating principles; familiarity with at least one mainstream GPU architecture.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python; ability to build architecture‑level models and simulators.
• Hands‑on FPGA prototype validation experience and familiarity with mainstream FPGA flows.
• Experience with low‑level software, RTL design, verification, and hardware‑software co‑design.
• Professional Mandarin Chinese for technical discussions; good English for Singapore team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead exploration and definition of next‑gen GPU system and core architectures.
• Define architecture specifications covering modules, interfaces, and performance/POWER/area targets.
• Build architecture‑level models and performance simulators for workloads.
• Conduct architecture trade‑off studies to balance performance and power.
• Own FPGA prototype validation workflow and bring‑up issues.
• Collaborate with drivers, firmware, and kernel teams for co‑verification.
• Coordinate with RTL, verification, and physical teams to align design with goals.
• Lead cross‑team architectural reviews and track technology trends.
• Communicate risks and decisions across Singapore and Chinese‑speaking teams.
