CMC-APAC PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to modernise the GET Platform, a smart utility management system for large-scale monitoring and analytics. You will analyse the existing platform, own solution design, and drive modernisation initiatives using Golang and modern data technologies.

Collaborate with product, infrastructure, cyber security, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable backend services, data ingestion and time-series storage.

Formación

• 8+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong proficiency in modern Golang development.
• Deep understanding of time-series data systems, including ingestion, transformation, storage, and querying.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and modern web application architecture.
• Experience with Kafka, event streaming, or real-time data processing platforms.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity and software quality.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse the existing platform architecture and codebase to understand system behaviour, dependencies, and constraints.
• Own end-to-end solution design and implementation planning for platform modernisation initiatives.
• Modernise data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics for large-scale time-series workloads.
• Design and develop scalable backend services using Golang.
• Implement integrations with databases, event-streaming platforms, and supporting services.
• Collaborate with product, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to deliver modernisation initiatives.
• Follow engineering best practices in software design, testing, observability, automation, and operational excellence.
