Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Global Merchandise Sourcing, shaping seasonal strategies across apparel, accessories and home lines.

You will mentor teams, drive supplier performance, negotiate favorable terms, and collaborate with design, merchandising and Parks teams to deliver high-quality, on-time products while protecting margins. The role requires 10–12 years of experience and a data-driven, collaborative leadership style.

Qualifications

• 10 to 12 years’ experience in Global Sourcing, Product Development, Apparel Sourcing or equivalent.
• Knowledge of 3D digital apparel tools such as CLO3D, Browzwear, etc.
• Experiences in fabric sourcing, garment development, end-to-end apparel production process.
• Strong apparel construction, fit, and fabric knowledge.
• Understanding of textile performance and testing.

Responsibilities

• Develops, mentors and trains teams providing appropriate direction, resources and environment needed for success.
• Manages global initiatives, projects, processes & resources to produce desired outcomes.
• Engages suppliers & colleagues to optimize performance and drive innovation.
• Educates & cultivates suppliers to ensure production & development meet timelines.
• Oversees the development of short and long-term sourcing strategies and risk mitigation.
• Travels domestically and internationally to evaluate opportunities and build vendor relationships.
• Drives profitability and cost/efficiency improvements across categories.
• Anticipates market behavior and develops supplier strategies to mitigate risk.
