Aberdeen is hiring a Senior Multi-Asset Trader to execute Equity, FX, Fixed Income and Emerging Market Debt across global markets. The role supports investment teams in Asia, EMEA and the Americas, delivering best execution and timely market colour.

The successful candidate will liaise with portfolio managers, analysts and brokers, contributing to execution strategies, risk controls and continuous improvement of the dealing function.

Qualifications

• Proven buy-side or sell-side trading experience across multiple asset classes.
• Experience in executing across Equities, FX, Fixed Income and EMD.
• CMFAS examinations completed.
• Strong understanding of market structure, liquidity dynamics and execution strategies.
• Ability to assess liquidity, market impact and execution risk.

Responsabilités

• Execute equity, FX, fixed income and EMD trades across global markets per PM instructions.
• Use electronic, algorithmic, block and voice channels for cash equities in Asia as appropriate.
• Provide market colour, liquidity insight and execution recommendations to investment teams.
• Coordinate with brokers, counterparties and trading venues to ensure best execution.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, regulatory rules and escalation procedures.
• Share market intelligence and post-trade insights to investment teams and stakeholders.
