Job summary

Standard Life Aberdeen is seeking a Senior Multi-Asset Trader to efficiently execute Equity, FX, Fixed Income and Emerging Market Debt across global markets. You will operate from a centralised dealing desk, delivering best execution while offering market colour and liquidity insights to portfolio managers across Asia, EMEA and the Americas.

Qualifications

• Proven buy-side or sell-side trading experience with execution across Equities, FX, Fixed Income and EMD.
• Strong understanding of market structure, liquidity dynamics and execution strategies.
• Ability to assess liquidity, market impact and execution risk across asset classes.
• Hold the CMFAS examinations.

Responsibilities

• Execute equity, FX, Fixed Income and EMD transactions in accordance with portfolio manager instructions and best execution obligations.
• Execute cash equity trades across Asian markets using electronic, algorithmic, block and voice trading channels.
• Execute FX spot, forwards, NDFs and related transactions supporting investment and hedging activities.
• Support cross-regional coverage and provide market colour and execution recommendations.
• Coordinate with brokers and operations to ensure a seamless trade lifecycle.
