The role focuses on driving construction engineering across semiconductor facilities worldwide, from design through operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction, Building Services, or related field.
• 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience, including 5 years supporting construction projects.
• Strong semiconductor facilities and process systems design experience (Cleanroom HVAC, CHW, PCW, Exhaust, CDA, Vacuum, etc.).
• Experience working in EPCM project environments.
• Ability to review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical designs.
• Experience in project execution, including cost control, scheduling, commissioning, and handover.
• Strong knowledge of construction engineering practices within semiconductor or similar industries.
• Excellent technical problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment.
• Apply baseline digital fluency and AI literacy to utilize AI-enabled tools for engineering analysis, problem-solving, and operational efficiency.
• Professional certification or membership in a recognized engineering body.
• Experience working on semiconductor fab or large industrial projects.
• Experience in greenfield construction projects.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in construction and facilities.
• Experience working across global or regional teams.

Responsibilities

• Building effective collaboration across facilities, procurement, manufacturing, IT, and operations teams.
• Communicating project updates, risks, and key milestones to stakeholders and leadership.
• Identifying risks, escalating issues proactively, and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Supporting root cause analysis and technical problem-solving across global sites.
• Contributing to the development and standardization of Best Known Methods (BKMs).
• Driving alignment of engineering priorities with global facilities strategies.
• Leading or supporting capacity planning and scenario analysis across site networks.
• Supporting sustainability initiatives aligned with corporate goals.
• Leading construction engineering activities for semiconductor facilities across design, construction, commissioning, and operations phases.
• Providing technical engineering support to construction teams to drive project execution and operational excellence.
• Managing scope, schedule, cost, and quality to meet project and business requirements.
• Supporting large-scale greenfield fab projects across the U.S. and Asia, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Reviewing engineering design packages and providing timely, documented feedback.
• Monitoring construction progress and resolving technical issues during project execution.
• Supporting cost estimation, scheduling, and business case development.
• Coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Driving continuous improvement in construction practices, with a focus on efficiency, innovation, and sustainability.
