Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Senior Engineer for Global Facilities Central Engineering, Construction (Electrical) to lead electrical construction across the full project lifecycle.

You will drive large-scale fab projects, review designs for compliance, and provide technical support to resolve issues in design, construction, and commissioning. The role requires 8+ years in electrical engineering with construction project experience, EPCM exposure, and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years electrical engineering experience, including at least 5 years supporting construction projects.
• Experience working in EPCM project environments.
• Experience designing, supporting, and reviewing electrical systems in semiconductor industrial facilities.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and electrical system designs.
• Experience in project execution, project controls, cost management, scheduling, and risk management.
• Ability to work effectively in global, multicultural teams and travel as required.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction engineering across the full project lifecycle (design, construction, commissioning, and handover).
• Drive delivery of large-scale fab projects in alignment with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirements.
• Review and validate electrical system designs to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Provide technical support to resolve construction, installation, and design-related issues.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure timely resolution of technical challenges.
• Support development of project cost estimates, schedules, and business justifications.
• Coordinate consultants and contractors to ensure efficient and aligned project execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to development and standardization of Best Known Methods (BKMs).
• Support sustainability programs and capacity planning initiatives across sites.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to improve engineering analysis, project planning, and execution efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to leverage data and AI to enhance decision-making and optimize workflows.
