Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Engineer, Construction – Mechanical to provide technical engineering support for semiconductor facility projects across the U.S.

and Asia. You will lead design reviews, manage scope and schedule, and collaborate with global teams to deliver safely and on budget. The role emphasizes sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence, with responsibilities spanning design, construction, commissioning, handover, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction, Building Services, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of mechanical engineering experience with 5 years in construction projects.
• Semiconductor facilities experience (Cleanroom HVAC, CHW, PCW, Exhaust, CDA, Vacuum).
• Experience in EPCM project environments and cost/schedule control.
• Ability to review drawings, specs, and technical designs.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership abilities.
• Ability to apply AI-enabled tools for analysis and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction engineering activities across design, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Provide technical support to construction teams to drive project execution and performance.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality to meet requirements.
• Support greenfield fab projects in the U.S. and Asia, ensuring compliance.
• Review engineering packages and provide timely feedback.
• Monitor progress and resolve technical issues during execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to align goals.
• Drive improvement in construction practices with focus on efficiency and sustainability.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into engineering and project workflows.
