Job summary

Exyte is seeking a Global Category Manager – Electrical to refine the category strategy for HV, MV, and LV electrical procurement across our high‑tech construction and manufacturing operations. You will drive negotiations and implement global Master Framework Agreements with strategic suppliers to maximize value, cost efficiency, and supply reliability.

You will collaborate with engineering, commercial, and operations teams worldwide, leverage SAP and Ariba for supplier performance and spend

Qualifications

10+ years in procurement or category management focused on electrical equipment
Experience negotiating and managing global framework agreements
Strong technical and commercial understanding of electrical systems and equipment
Proven success developing category strategies across global units
Advanced stakeholder management across engineering, operations, finance
Experience with SAP and Ariba; data-driven decision making

Responsibilities

Refine and execute global electrical category strategy across units
Negotiate and implement global Master Framework Agreements with key suppliers
Single point of accountability for the global electrical category across Exyte
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet technical specs and project needs
Identify and mitigate supply risks; optimize total cost of ownership
Monitor market trends and supply chain developments in HV, MV, LV
Utilize SAP, Ariba and analytics dashboards to track performance
Align procurement activities with project goals and stakeholder expectations
Build relationships with engineering, construction, operations, and finance across functions
