Job summary

WSA, a leading hearing aid company, is seeking an experienced Senior Category Manager to lead strategic procurement for high-value electronics with global responsibility. You will own supplier strategy, drive cost savings, and support new product introductions across sites and functions.

You will collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations and Purchasing to align category needs, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure continuity of supply from Singapore to the world.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain with 8+ years in procurement or supply chain.
• Strong analytical skills in cost modeling and TCO techniques.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management for high-value categories.
• Drive cost savings via negotiation, value engineering, benchmarking, and cost modeling.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Purchasing to align supplier strategy with needs.
• Engage in New Product Introduction projects, including supplier selection and planning.
• Manage supplier selection, qualification, evaluation, development, and phase-out.
• Negotiate price, terms, and contracts with legal collaboration, including statements of work.
• Maintain strategic supplier relationships and uphold cooperative partnerships.
