Job summary

ox consultancy pte. ltd. seeks an experienced GIS software engineer with strong hands-on development and technical leadership to drive GIS applications from design through deployment.

You will build scalable backend services with Java/Spring Boot, automations in Python, and web GIS frontends using modern frameworks, while integrating with PostGIS/Oracle SQL Server, and ensuring cloud readiness on AWS or Azure with robust CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of GIS application development experience and strong technical leadership.
• Backend services and APIs using Java/Spring Boot.
• GIS automation, data processing, geoprocessing with Python.
• ArcGIS suite development and maintenance.
• Web GIS applications using Java, React/Angular and REST.
• REST API development and integration with enterprise systems.
• Spatial databases: PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, SQL Server.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
• CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab.
• Git and source control; DevOps practices for GIS deployments.
• Proven leadership of GIS development teams.
• Strong SDLC and Agile experience.
