Job summary

Gunvor Group Ltd. is seeking a Senior Risk Officer to join the Risk team in Singapore. You will lead daily P&L, position and risk reporting, and collaborate with traders, operations and IT to ensure robust risk control across the gasoline desk.

The role requires 5+ years in commodity trading risk, strong MTM and hedging knowledge, and proficiency with ETRM and Excel. Fluency in English is essential, Mandarin a plus, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Math or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant risk/P&L experience in commodity trading, ideally gasoline.
• Strong understanding of derivatives, MTM, hedging and risk concepts.
• Proficient with ETRM systems and Excel; VBA/Power BI/Python/SQL a plus.
• Fluent English; Chinese language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily P&L, position and risk reporting and ensure accurate attribution and reporting to management.
• Validate trades, check MTM, and monitor risk exposures against limits.
• Develop and maintain risk analytics, curves, causals and reporting for traders and senior management.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Operations, Trade Support, Controlling, Credit Risk and IT.
• Mentor junior risk officers and drive process improvements and controls.
