Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is hiring an FX Trading Systems Developer to rebuild a market-leading multi-dealer FX trading platform. The role focuses on low-latency, fault-tolerant distributed backend systems using Java, Spring, Kafka, and cloud-native tooling.

You will design, implement and optimize high-performance services, participate in architecture discussions, and drive robust code reviews and testing coverage. Senior Associate level expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Computer Engineering or a relevant field is desirable.
• Strong core Java + Spring. React knowledge is a plus.
• Finance degree or certifications (FRM/CFA/PRM, etc.) are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and encourage architecture and implementation of fault-tolerant, robust, and scalable distributed backend systems that power financial applications.
• Design and develop high-performance, low-latency cloud-native backend system solutions using Java and Spring.
• Participate in architecture discussions and requirement elaborations; contribute to SDLC and code reviews.
• Perform performance tuning of application code to optimize system responsiveness and reliability.
