Senior Fund Accountant – Private Equity & Real Assets

Job summary

ESR Group, a leading Asia-Pacific real asset owner, seeks a Senior Accountant, Fund Finance to support private equity fund accounting, reporting, budgeting and compliance across multiple funds.

You will partner with investment, finance and operations teams, manage NAV and investor reporting, oversee cashflows, capital calls and fund distributions, and help implement process improvements including SAP-to-Yardi migration.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (CA/CPA/ACCA) with a minimum of 4 years of experience in private equity fund accounting.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, SFRS(I) and related regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills capable of liaising with stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; ability to lead and mentor a team.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the management and review of day-to-day accounting and financial operations for multiple private equity funds.
• Prepare NAV statements, capital accounts, financial statements and investor reports.
• Assist with capital calls, distributions and investor allocations.
• Support audits with internal and external auditors.
• Contribute to system migrations and process improvements (e.g., SAP to Yardi) and data governance.
