Job summary

sggovterp in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Fullstack Engineer to architect and implement end-to-end solutions, from rich user interfaces to scalable backend services and APIs.

You will lead frontend work with React.js and Next.js, build robust backend with Node.js/Express or Java Spring Boot, design cloud-native solutions on AWS, and collaborate with UX and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated fullstack capability.
• Strong expertise in React.js and Next.js, including state management and modern patterns.
• Strong expertise in Node.js Express and/or Java Spring Boot, with extensive experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complex frontend applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Design and develop robust backend services using Node.js/Express and/or Java Spring Boot and architect RESTful APIs.
• Architect and implement responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services (serverless, containers).
• Lead database design across relational and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with UX designers to translate requirements into full-stack solutions and API contracts.
• Champion best practices across the full stack: quality, testing, and documentation.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to architectural planning.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues across frontend and backend.
