Job summary

PERSOL Outsourcing in Central, Singapore, seeks a senior full-stack engineer for a 1-year contract to design, develop and maintain scalable web applications and enterprise software solutions.

You will build modern front-ends with React/Angular/Vue.js and robust back-end services using Java/Spring Boot or .NET/C#. You will design RESTful APIs, implement CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with product managers, architects and other tech teams to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong front-end development experience with React, Angular, Vue.js or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong back-end development experience with Java/Spring Boot, .NET/C#, or equivalent technologies.
• Hands-on experience with either Java/Spring Boot OR .NET/C# is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps technologies and practices, including CI/CD, automated deployment and source control.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices and web application architecture.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or MongoDB.
• Good understanding of Git/version control, software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns and object-oriented programming.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack web applications and enterprise software solutions.
• Develop modern, responsive front-end applications using React, Angular, Vue.js or similar frameworks.
• Develop robust back-end applications, APIs and microservices using Java/Spring Boot, .NET/C# or similar technologies.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with databases and third-party systems.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support automated build, testing and deployment processes.
• Participate in the full SDLC from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical architecture and design discussions.
• Work closely with product managers, architects and other teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Apply engineering best practices to ensure quality, security, scalability and performance.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency.
