Job summary

Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (OCBC) seeks a senior Front-end Software Engineer to design, develop and test modern wealth management interfaces. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, implement reusable UI components, and ensure consistent, accessible user experiences across platforms.

The role emphasizes API integration, code quality, and adherence to agile processes, with exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5–10 years of front-end development experience, preferably in banking/financial services.
Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
Familiarity with React testing libraries and UI testing practices.
Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Ansible.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test front-end software for wealth management and private banking.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Implement reusable components and scalable front-end architectures.
Ensure UI consistency, accessibility, and cross-platform usability.
Integrate front-end with RESTful APIs and backend services.
Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices.
Troubleshoot front-end issues promptly.
