Job summary

Qualifications

• 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelors or Masters in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Proven enterprise-level application development experience.
• Strong Java background: Core Java, Spring, Quarkus.
• Database expertise: SQL and NoSQL, data modeling.
• API development with RESTful services and microservices.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and build tools Maven/Gradle.
• CI/CD and DevOps tooling (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Frontend skills: React and ES6, responsive UI.
• Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Security, testing, code reviews, and quality standards.
• Agile/Scrum participation and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain fullstack applications using Java, React and databases.
• Lead architectural decisions for client-side and server-side components.
• Develop robust RESTful APIs and microservices with Spring Boot and Quarkus.
• Build responsive frontend apps using React and ES6.
• Design and optimize database schemas and data models.
• Implement security measures and data protection practices.
• Ensure code quality via unit/integration tests and reviews.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and stakeholders.
• Mentor juniors and guide the team’s technical direction.
• Work with DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and sprint planning.
• Optimize performance for frontend and backend; troubleshoot complex issues.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and production reliability practices.
• Ensure scalability and maintainability of applications.
