Job summary

Grab is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for the MiniApp Platform to shape portal experiences, onboarded workflows and backend services. You will work across the developer portal and services, drive technical decisions and turn complex platform workflows into reliable self-service experiences.

You will report to the Software Engineering Manager and be based onsite at the Grab One North office, contributing to architecture, reliability and developer experience across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of full-stack engineering experience with TypeScript and React; proficiency in at least one backend language.
• Experience designing, building and operating scalable APIs, distributed services, databases and cloud-based systems.
• Knowledge of observability, production troubleshooting and reliability engineering practices.
• Experience designing secure, well-tested and maintainable systems across the full stack.
• Drive design decisions, review complex changes, and mentor other engineers.
• Experience building developer platforms, internal tools, self-service workflows or onboarding systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver scalable portal experiences, backend services and APIs for the MiniApp Platform.
• Lead the design of self-service capabilities that reduce manual work and improve the developer experience.
• Drive automation across MiniApp onboarding, configuration, review and release workflows.
• Strengthen platform reliability and observability through telemetry, dashboards, alerts and operational tooling.
• Testing, security, performance and maintainable system design.
• Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, incident response and platform improvement.
• Mentor engineers and help evolve engineering practices across the team.
• Partner with product, design, mobile, backend and infrastructure teams to align priorities and deliver platform outcomes.
