Job summary

Bond Financial Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain production applications across backend and frontend. You will deliver secure, well-tested software, contribute to engineering standards, and support ISO 27001:2022 compliance.

Reporting to the Applications Lead, you will work on microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native solutions using Golang, Java, React, and TypeScript. On-call support and mentoring junior engineers are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive fullstack software engineering experience.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and secure SDLC practices (SAST, SCA).
• Background in regulated industries (financial services or fintech preferred); ISO 27001:2022 exposure advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production applications across backend and frontend.
• Develop RESTful APIs with versioning and documentation; enable event-driven data flows.
• Design database schemas; build containerised, cloud-native applications.
