Job summary

Thunes is seeking a Software Engineer (Core - full stack) in Singapore to help scale our FinTech platform, delivering reliable APIs and UI across backend and frontend in a fast-growing, global company.

You will work with AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL, Vue.js and modern development practices, contributing to scalable services and efficient development processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Engineering Computer Science or related fields.
• Software engineers that are motivated, curious and have an appetite for learning.
• Proficient in Golang, Perl, Python.
• Experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with VueJS or similar JavaScript libraries/frameworks.
• Experience with Relational Databases.
• Passionate about Agile Methodology (TDD, CI, CD).
• Experience designing and developing web and API solutions as a Full Stack Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Work on highly available services, exposed mainly by APIs developing both client and server side software
• Participate in the design, implementation and shipping of new products to internal and external stakeholders
• Deliver high quality, testable, secure, readable, scalable and documented software
• Understand, apply and champion the principles of the agile methodology (code reviews, sprint planning, pair programming, daily stand-ups, etc..)
• Assist in the evaluation of new technologies and initiatives
