Job summary

Thunes, based in Singapore, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Core - full stack) to join our Engineering team in building scalable fintech platforms. You will contribute to core platform and services, delivering new functionality, and improving development processes to support millions of transactions globally.

Based in Singapore, you will develop highly available APIs and both client/server-side software, participate in product design, and ensure code quality, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/Engineering/CS preferred.
• Proficient in Golang, Perl, Python.
• Experience with front-end HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with VueJS.
• Experience with relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Work on highly available APIs, developing client and server side software.
• Participate in design, implementation and shipping of new products for internal/external stakeholders.
• Deliver high quality, testable, secure, readable, scalable and documented software.
• Understand and apply Agile principles (code reviews, sprint planning, pair programming, stand-ups).
• Assist in evaluating new technologies and initiatives.
