Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific in Singapore is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications. You will build data pipelines for contact management, collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams, and drive quality through code reviews and automated testing.

You will own end-to-end quality, contribute to architectural directions, and stay current with industry trends to deliver citizen-centric products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development, preferably full stack.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns.
• Proficient in React, Node.js, PostgreSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with cloud services; AWS experience a plus.
• Experience with data lakes and large-scale data processing is a plus.
• Familiarity with record matching and deduplication techniques is a plus.
• Background in CRM, contact management, or customer data platforms is a plus.
• Experience with Kotlin to support legacy codebases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications.
• Build scalable contact data pipelines for ingestion, deduplication, and segmentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver citizen-centric products.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in production and development environments.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD; own quality end-to-end.
• Documentation: create and document technical designs aligned with guidelines.
• Integrate with downstream platforms and channels used by agencies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and apply new technologies.
• Act as a technical lead when required: steer architecture decisions.
