Job summary

Adecco Personnel Pte Ltd in Singapore partners with a US technology multinational to hire a Senior Full Stack Developer. You will build scalable backend services with strong OO programming, while also contributing frontend work in React/Next.js when needed.

We expect 7+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a track record of delivering new applications and owning end-to-end technical initiatives. Strong API design skills and production reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of hands-on software development experience in large-scale or complex environments.
• Strong backend development experience using an object-oriented programming language.
• Python is preferred, but strong experience with Java, Go, Kotlin, PHP, Node.js is acceptable.
• Proven experience building and delivering new applications/systems.
• Experience designing scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems.
• End-to-end ownership of projects, features, or components.
• Leading major technical initiatives and projects.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and REST APIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with code reviews, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production reliability.

Responsibilities

• Build new internal applications that improve workflows and productivity.
• Integrate existing internal systems and tools for centralized data access.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Operations and Infrastructure to deliver solutions.
• Develop backend services and scalable applications supporting complex requirements.
• Build frontend interfaces when needed using React or Next.js.
• Design and architect scalable systems focused on performance and reliability.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Improve code quality through reviews, testing, monitoring, and production rollouts.
• Reduce technical debt and enhance existing systems.
• Take end-to-end ownership of applications and features.
• Lead major technical initiatives across teams.
• Use data and analysis to identify problems and determine root causes.
• Work with multiple languages, frameworks, and technologies.
