Job summary

Hioki Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build the next generation of industrial maintenance software across web, mobile, and backend systems. You will own features end-to-end and apply an AI-native approach to quickly translate requirements into production-ready software.

The role is based in Singapore, collaborating with teams in Singapore and Japan to deliver hardware-software-data integrations for industrial use cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong TypeScript and React experience.
• Backend development experience, preferably Node.js.
• Strong SQL and database-design skills.
• Experience building production SaaS or workflow applications.
• Strong ownership and product-thinking skills.
• Comfortable using AI coding agents and AI-assisted development workflows.
• UI/UX design & storyboard experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop product features across frontend and backend.
• Build asset, work-order and maintenance workflows.
• Develop dashboards, reporting and data-management features.
• Design APIs, databases and application architecture.
• Build mobile and offline-capable workflows.
• Integrate measurement, IoT and third-party data.
• Maintain automated tests and production quality.
• Use AI coding agents extensively for development, testing, debugging and documentation.
• Own the test strategy and quality bar for safety-adjacent industrial software, including automated coverage and regression safeguards.
