Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer to own the design, development and delivery of enterprise-grade applications across the full stack.

You will work with React/TypeScript on the frontend and Java/Python on the backend, building secure, scalable cloud-native solutions on Azure. You will lead architecture discussions, implement CI/CD with Azure DevOps and GitHub, apply DevSecOps practices, and containerize with Docker/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on software development experience in enterprise-grade applications.
• Proven experience designing, developing and deploying full stack apps with modern frontend and backend tech.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript; Angular/Vue.js is a plus.
• Backend development with Java and/or Python; REST APIs and microservices experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on Azure services in a production environment.
• Experience delivering cloud-native apps using Azure PaaS and serverless services.
• Experience implementing authentication and identity integration with Microsoft Entra ID and RBAC.
• Experience CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade full stack applications using modern frontend frameworks such as React with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Build secure, scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Python, FastAPI or equivalent with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop and integrate cloud-native solutions using Azure services including App Service, Functions, Storage and SQL DB.
• Design and implement data access patterns with SQL and NoSQL databases and secure data handling.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions for build, test, deploy and release.
• Apply DevSecOps across the software delivery lifecycle with secrets management and vulnerability checks.
• Use Infrastructure as Code tools like Bicep or Terraform for repeatable provisioning and deployment.
• Containerize and deploy using Docker and Kubernetes, including AKS where appropriate.
• Integrate AI capabilities into applications using Azure AI Foundry / OpenAI where business cases exist.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, code quality, and documentation with human review.
• Participate in technical design, architecture reviews and integration planning for secure, scalable solutions.
• Support production operations through troubleshooting, performance tuning and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with product owners, platform engineers, security teams and delivery stakeholders in Agile teams.
• Document designs, decisions, patterns and operational procedures to improve maintainability.
