Job summary

Qualifications

• Senior OutSystems architect with hands-on development and leadership.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end digital government projects.

• Certification: OutSystems Expert Developer or higher.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews.
• Design, build, and deploy applications using OutSystems.
• Translate business requirements into automated workflows, forms and process logic, working closely with the cross-functional Scrum team and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet operational needs.
• Take ownership of day-to-day technical decision-making on system architecture, code quality, resilience, security and platform implementation, ensuring alignment with platform governance standards and system architecture.
• Deliver features through the full sprint cycle.
• Manage deployment lifecycle and performance optimisation.
• Act as technical escalation point for integration, performance, security and platform limitation risks, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive resolution and ensure delivery continuity.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications, including technical specifications and support materials.

Essential Skill Sets

• 7 + years OutSystems development and architect experience
• OutSystems certification (OutSystems Expert Developer or higher)
• Experience in leading a team of engineers in delivering end-to-end digital products
• Experience in agile-scrum methodology, DevOps practices and end-to-end project lifecycle
• Experience building government or public sector digital products
• Experience in integrating legacy systems into a modern platform

Desirable Experience

• Experience in GovTech tech stack
• Experience in OutSystems-based delivery
• Experience in handling legacy tech systems
• Good knowledge of the government ICT policies and standards
