Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced OutSystems Developer to design, develop, and deploy applications on the OutSystems platform in Singapore.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications, implement data models and UIs, and guide junior developers while applying best practices for performance and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of hands-on OutSystems development experience.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
• Proficiency in OutSystems features: visual modeling, logic, data modeling, and UI design.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and database design.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• OutSystems certifications (e.g., Associate Developer, Professional Developer) are a plus.
• Leadership or senior developer role experience.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
• Experience integrating external APIs in OutSystems.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and performance optimization.
