Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced backend/full‑stack engineer to develop Java/Spring Boot microservices and Angular front‑end apps, while managing MariaDB databases and building Kibana dashboards.

You will support CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes, contribute to security by following best practices, work in an Agile team, and be comfortable with weekend shifts when required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Full Stack Development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing backend microservices using Java/Spring Boot
• Building responsive web applications with Angular
• Managing MariaDB databases
• Creating Kibana dashboards
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Full Stack Development.
• Strong expertise in MariaDB/MySQL, database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for monitoring, reporting, and observability.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of OAuth2, JWT, application security, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with Git, Agile/Scrum, and collaborative development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
