Job summary

Virtusa Singapore is seeking a hands-on Full-Stack Developer to design, implement, and optimize RESTful services using Java 11+/Spring Boot, while building responsive UIs with Angular and TypeScript. You will model database schemas in Oracle and tune PL/SQL for performance, with exposure to Finastra LoanIQ a plus.

In an Agile environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to API specifications, and support DevOps practices with CI/CD tooling and cloud/container

Qualifications

• Experience in professional software development (6–10 years).
• Backend expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Frontend development with component-based UI using Angular/TypeScript.
• Oracle database design and PL/SQL, with performance tuning.
• Knowledge of API design, JSON/XML processing, and Agile methods.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful services with Java 11+ / Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive UIs with Angular (v12+), TypeScript, and RxJS.
• Model database schemas and optimize Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
• Build secure API integrations using REST/SOAP and messaging patterns.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, contribute to CI/CD and DevOps.
