Job summary

Mavericks Consulting PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced software engineer to join our agile team.

You will work on backend and frontend development, shaping scalable web and mobile solutions for real-world business problems. Collaborate with top engineers, apply TDD and CI/CD practices, and contribute to clean, maintainable code. You’ll participate in design discussions and help drive architectural decisions across diverse tech stacks.

Qualifications

• Experience in backend and frontend development across web, mobile, and cloud.
• Deep understanding of at least one programming language and a paradigm (OOP/FP).
• Experience with multiple tech stacks including modern web frameworks.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Championing best Agile and software engineering practices (e.g. Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), etc.) to develop high-quality products and solutions

The Qualifications To Be a Maverick

1. Minimum Qualifications

• Experienced in backend and frontend development (e.g. Web, Mobile, Cloud, etc.)

• Deep understanding of at least one programming language and at least one programming paradigm (OOP, FP)

• Experience working with various techstacks (e.g. Typescript, ReactJS, NodeJS, AngularJS, Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails, Javascript, Java, GoLang, etc.)

2. Desirable Qualifications

• Worked in high performance and cross-functional Agile software engineering teams that used practices like Kanban/Scrum/Lean/XP, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), etc.

• Experienced in using clean code practices, test automation and writing readable, maintainable code

• Good understanding of end-to-end application architecture

• Delivered at least one large-scale project to production

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Experience with DevOps practices and Automation tools
