Job summary

Citi in Singapore is seeking a senior frontend developer to design, build and maintain web apps for equity derivatives platforms using React and TypeScript, collaborating with front office and operations to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

You will implement Redux state management, write tests with Vitest and Cypress, and contribute to architecture and UI components. A bachelor’s degree and 5–6 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 5–6 years of frontend development with React and TypeScript.
• In-depth knowledge of React, Redux, RTK, Cypress and Storybook.
• Extensive experience with Cypress and Vitest with focus on TDD.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript including complex types.
• Proficiency in responsive web design and CSS.
• Familiar with backend frameworks such as Node.js and Java Spring Boot APIs.
• Knowledge of RESTful services and data formats (XML, JSON).
• Familiar with RDMS and NoSQL databases.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web apps using React and TypeScript with clean, maintainable code.
• Manage application state using Redux/RTK.
• Ensure high test coverage with Vitest and Cypress integration tests.
• Create reusable UI components across Trade Management apps.
• Contribute to architecture and front-end best practices.
• Perform code reviews to improve quality and testability.
• Plan and schedule work independently with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define feature requirements.
• Foster constructive teamwork and adapt to evolving environments.
• Mentor junior analysts as needed.
