Job summary

Airwallex is building the next-generation billing platform from its Singapore office. You will own frontend architecture and contribute to a scalable platform used across 130+ currencies. Qualifications

• 5+ years frontend development experience including 2+ years in frontend architecture.
• Experience building large-scale financial web systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality products with React and TypeScript using modern frontend practices.
• Design and develop micro-frontend web apps with domain-based architecture and single-SPA.
• Create scalable Node.js backend-for-frontend services with Apollo GraphQL and clear contracts.
• Collaborate with Design to develop a shared design system and reusable components.
• Deliver NPM packages, widgets, and open-source projects for easier integrations.
• Deploy micro-frontends and Node.js services using GCP, Alibaba Cloud Kubernetes, CDN, Cloudflare, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Ensure reliable unit and end-to-end testing with React Testing Library and Cypress.
• Develop no-code/serverless CMS capabilities using Contentful and Next.js.
• Engage with frontend guilds, explore new tech, and reduce technical debt.
