Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) seeks a senior Frontend Software Engineer to build a web-based semantic map annotation editor and 3D visualizations for autonomous vehicles. You will handle massive datasets, ensure editing and validation workflows, and partner with ML teams to automate processes.

You’ll own projects, push performance optimizations, and contribute to a cutting-edge mapping platform with globally distributed colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five years as a frontend software engineer.
• Proficient in TypeScript and React.
• Ability to write clear design docs with architectural decisions.
• Strong grasp of frontend architecture, observability, concurrency and design patterns.
• Excellent performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication with international teams.
• Experience with editor-type apps and geospatial data.
• Familiarity with 3D visualization libraries (Three.js/DeckGL) or WebGL/WebGPU.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, document, test, and maintain web-based map editors and 3D visualizations.
• Write clean, maintainable code and promote best practices.
• Monitor, support, and resolve issues to keep systems reliable.
• Optimize applications to handle terabytes of map data visualization and editing.
• Own projects and drive innovation and process improvement.
• Collaborate with Machine Learning teams to integrate automations.
• Work with international teams to meet researchers’ and engineers’ needs.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance daily workflows and development lifecycle.
