Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS/engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years of frontend software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Typescript and React with strong design sense.
• Ability to write clear design docs detailing architecture and implementation.
• Solid grasp of observability, concurrency, and frontend architecture.
• Proven performance optimization skills for large data apps.
• Experience with geospatial data and modern mapping systems.
• Hands-on with 3D visualization libraries (Three.js, DeckGL) or WebGL/WebGPU.
• Strong UI/UX design skills and ability to simplify complex tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, document, test, and maintain web-based map editors and 3D visualizations for large datasets.
• Craft clean, maintainable code that sets team standards.
• Monitor, support, and resolve issues as they arise.
• Optimize web apps for peak performance with terabytes of map data.
• Take ownership of projects and drive innovation and workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with Machine Learning teams to integrate automations.
• Work with international teams to develop cutting-edge map solutions.
