Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) seeks a senior Frontend Software Engineer to build a web-based semantic map annotation editor and 3D visualizations for autonomous vehicles. You will handle massive datasets, ensure editing and validation workflows, and partner with ML teams to automate processes.

You’ll own projects, push performance optimizations, and contribute to a cutting-edge mapping platform with globally distributed colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five years as a frontend software engineer.
• Proficient in TypeScript and React.
• Ability to write clear design docs with architectural decisions.
• Strong grasp of frontend architecture, observability, concurrency and design patterns.
• Excellent performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication with international teams.
• Experience with editor-type apps and geospatial data.
• Familiarity with 3D visualization libraries (Three.js/DeckGL) or WebGL/WebGPU.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
• Possess a minimum of five years of experience as a frontend software engineer.
• Are a Typescript maestro and a React rockstar.
• Write great design docs that clearly articulate technical proposals, architectural decisions, and implementation details for our mapping solutions.
• Have a rock-solid grasp of engineering fundamentals, such as observability, concurrency, parallelization, frontend architecture, and design patterns.
• Top-notch performance optimization skills.
• Love solving complex problems and are always eager to learn something new.
• Can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical international folks with your stellar communication skills.
• Bring expertise in at least one of the following areas:
  • Building robust, editor-type applications that handle complex state and user interactions.
  • Working with geospatial data and modern mapping systems.
  • Deep familiarity with 3D visualization libraries such as Three.js or DeckGL, or direct work with WebGL and WebGPU.
  • A strong knack for UI/UX design, making complex tools intuitive and delightful.
