Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to drive planning, analysis, and business case evaluation for plant performance. You will partner with operations to improve cost, profitability, and cash flow, while guiding junior analysts.

The role requires a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, GAAP, and variance analysis, with experience in manufacturing. SAP/Power BI skills are a plus, and the team emphasizes cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in a Financial Analyst or similar role (manufacturing preferred).
• Experience with costing, inventory, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial processes.
• Audit experience (Big4 or internal) preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP / Power BI experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyze financial performance (revenue, margins, costs, inventory, profitability).
• Perform monthly closing, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Develop financial models and business cases for pricing, CapEx, and strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to support decision-making.
• Mentor junior analysts and drive process improvements.
• Ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
