Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Singapore is seeking a seasoned expert to locally drive yield enhancement for lead products under new technology introduction (NTI) and during foundry transfers. You will develop yield monitoring methodologies, coordinate with NXP teams, and influence internal and external partners to meet corporate yield goals.

The role requires deep semiconductor knowledge, fluent English and Mandarin, and strong collaboration across global teams and external foundries.

Qualifications

Minimum M.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
Minimum 10 years of semiconductor experience in yield enhancement or similar area.
Fluency in English and Mandarin for interaction with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
Strong understanding of yield enhancement techniques and data analysis.
Knowledge of failure analysis techniques.
Good understanding of SoC architecture and product test patterns.

Responsibilities

Develop yield monitoring methodologies and infrastructure for automated tracking.
Work with technology and product teams to define yield enhancement strategies for NTI products.
Assess yield needs across the corporation and influence resources to meet goals.
Interact with foundries to enhance yield across multiple products and nodes.
Generate and standardise yield enhancement Best Known Methods.
Collaborate with global teams and Asian foundries to meet corporate goals.
