Boston Consulting Group (BCG) X seeks a Senior/Lead Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join our rapidly growing engineering team and help build the next generation of AI solutions. You’ll partner with clients across regions and industries to design, build, and deploy scalable AI capabilities.

You will lead and contribute to a broad analytics value chain, applying software development practices, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver robust, innovative AI-powered products.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5–10 years of software development experience, with leadership exposure.
• Experience with global remote agile squads.
• Proficiency with analytic software programming in Python, C++, or SCALA.
• Familiarity with relational, non-relational and streaming data structures.
• Understanding of parallel computing.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and cloud infrastructures (AWS/Azure/Google).

Responsibilities

• Apply software development practices to build robust, maintainable software.
• Involved in all stages of the software development life cycle.
• Guide non-technical teams on robust software development practices.
• Optimize computational efficiency of algorithms and software design.
• Collaborate with clients to deliver new features for products and services.
