Job summary

PASONA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Food Technologist for application development and technical support in the Food Ingredients sector. The role involves performing sensory and physicochemical analyses, conducting trials at customer sites, and presenting innovative solutions to clients.

You will work closely with the Sales team to ensure solutions meet client expectations, demonstrate products at events, and maintain rigorous documentation and equipment safety in the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of R&D experience as a Food Technologist in bakery, processed foods, beverages, ice cream, confectionery, or related ingredient sectors.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related discipline.
• Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Application development work and providing customers' technical support.
• Carry out application work/study in applications using the client Food Ingredients portfolio; perform sensory and physicochemical analysis.
• Troubleshoot customers' problems and conduct trials at customer premises when needed.
• Develop innovative formulation concepts and prototypes based on market trends and customer needs; collaborate with Sales to meet client expectations.
• Present food ingredients and technical solutions to customers via presentations, seminars, demonstrations, exhibitions, and innovation days; support Technical Services on customer-focused projects.
• Record methods, tasks, and findings of assigned projects.
• Maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal, safe operation.
