Job summary

SMRT Buses Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior / Executive Maintenance Planning & Support to lead fault analysis, maintenance planning, and project coordination for the bus fleet. You will identify failure trends, support depot teams, and drive reliability improvements.

You will coordinate trials, engineering changes, and maintenance standards, working with OEMs, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient transport services.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years’ relevant experience in maintenance or fleet engineering (Senior: 5–8+ years).

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Engineering & Fault Analysis: Perform fault diagnosis and root cause analysis on bus systems and components.
• Projects & Modification Management: Support and manage engineering projects, including modifications, upgrades, and improvement initiatives.
• Trials, Testing & Validation: Plan and conduct trials for new components, systems, or maintenance solutions.
• Maintenance Standards & System Setup: Develop, review, and improve maintenance checklists and task content; ensure SAP PM alignment.
