Job summary

The National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore, invites applications for a Senior Executive/Executive in the Finance Department at NIE’s campus. The appointee will support day-to-day financial operations and service delivery to internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on payments, invoicing and funding claims.

Role requires a Polytechnic Diploma in Accountancy/Finance and 2–3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Excel is essential; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• A Polytechnic Diploma, preferably in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• Preferably 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations.
• Organised, meticulous, and comfortable working with numbers and financial records.
• Positive team player with a strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; SAP experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process staff-related payments, invoices and related enquiries.
• Compute liquidated damages for staff development schemes and prepare MOE funding claims.
• Support accounting matters for donations, endowment funds, insurance and assigned fund accounts.
• Review and improve finance processes with the Reporting Officer.
• Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Head of Finance.
• Perform other finance and administrative duties as assigned.
