Job summary

An established car dealership company in Singapore is seeking a dedicated GL Accountant to support its finance team. The ideal candidate will manage daily financial updates, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the audit process. With a diploma or degree in accounting and 2-3 years of experience, including knowledge of GST regulations, this role promises an engaging work environment with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain daily estimated Profit & Loss.
  • Perform month-end closing activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns as per IRAS guidelines.
  • Assist with audit queries from internal and external auditors.
  • Support corporate tax-related queries and provide necessary documentation.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Duties and responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Navision or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail, good analytical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Able to meet reporting timelines in a fast-paced environment.
