Job summary

RIO TINTO COMMERCIAL PTE. LTD. seeks a Senior Finance Advisor for its Commercial Finance Business Partnering team in Singapore. The role drives performance analytics, forecasting, and strategic financial support across a global commercial hub.

You will partner with business leaders, analyze revenue and margins, and collaborate with Sales, Operations and Risk to deliver actionable insights and automation improvements. Mandarin skills are a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., MBA, ACA, CPA).
8+ years of finance and commercial experience in a global organisation.
Proven ability to manage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
Strong analytical and logical skills for strategic thinking.
Curiosity and willingness to learn about the business and partner with stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership with autonomy and initiative.
Experience with standard business/finance tools (SAP, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI).
Mandarin language skills would be advantageous for interaction with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Partner with the business to drive performance through end‑to‑end analysis and insights.
Support leaders in performance measurement including revenue, product margins, P&L and working capital discussions.
Provide insights and initiatives to improve trade working capital.
Assist decision making with Sales & Operational Planning analysis of trade‑offs.
Collaborate across Commercial, Operations, Risk and other finance stakeholders.
