Job summary

A leading marine services firm based in Singapore is seeking a Senior Executive, Commercial, to manage tender processes and support contract administration activities. The successful candidate will ensure tenders and contracts are compliant and aligned with business objectives, lead proposal management, and coordinate with internal teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in tendering or commercial roles within the marine or offshore industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commercial Management, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in tendering, contracts or commercial roles, preferably within the marine or offshore industry.
  • Proficient in contract management and familiar with industry regulations.

Job description

The Senior Executive, Commercial, is responsible for managing end-to-end tender processes and supporting contract administration activities. The role ensures that all tenders and contracts are commercially sound, compliant with company policies, and aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead and coordinate the preparation, submission and management of commercial proposals and tenders, ensuring full compliance with client specifications and company policies.
  • Identify and provide tender strategies, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Respond promptly to enquiries and follow up with customers after offers are made.
  • Negotiate, execute and manage Charter Party Contracts and amendments with clients, ensuring compliance with the Company's Commercial Process.
  • Manage and update opportunities in the internal CRM system.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless execution of Charter Party contracts, including submitting pre and post contract forms for internal approvals.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify new business and cross-chartering opportunities to enhance revenue growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commercial Management, Maritime Studies, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in tendering, contracts or commercial roles, preferably within the marine or offshore industry
