Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for projects within the Ops Proc. URS & Satcom-SUI, RR & Satcom portfolio.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Implement procurement best practices and compliance standards.
• Conduct market analysis to identify sourcing opportunities, assess risks and propose strategies.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts, manage tendering processes, and oversee supplier performance.
• Monitor procurement metrics and provide insights to senior management.

Job Brief

As a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager in Procurement, you will play a vital role in driving strategic sourcing and procurement activities that support our operational requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and engage suppliers, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality procurement solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage procurement processes for projects within the Ops Proc. URS & Satcom-SUI, RR & Satcom portfolio, ensuring timely and cost-efficient acquisition of goods and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and continuous improvement in the supply chain.
• Implement procurement best practices and compliance standards in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Conduct market analysis to identify sourcing opportunities, assess risks, and recommend strategic procurement initiatives.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts, manage tendering processes, and oversee supplier performance assessments.
• Monitor procurement metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to senior management to support informed decision-making.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimising procurement efficiency, cost savings, and quality enhancements.
• Mentor and guide junior procurement staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in procurement or supply chain management, complemented by excellent analytical and negotiation skills. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to achieving results. Additionally, the following qualifications are required:

• Bachelor’s degre e in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, ideally in the engineering or automotive (Bus/trucks/ passenger vehicles) industries.
• Familiarity with procurement software (SAP S4/HANA)and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyse market trends and supplier capabilities effectively.
