MINDEF in Singapore is seeking an HR business partner to support Defence Executive Officers (DXOs) in assigned departments. You will provide strategic HR guidance, manage end-to-end career management, and advise on development opportunities.

You will review SOPs, implement knowledge management, and handle secretariat duties for the Committee, balancing departmental and organisational goals while maintaining stakeholder relationships.

Qualifikationen

• Education in Human Resources or a related field.
• Prior relevant work experience in human resources or a related field is preferred.
• Being conversant with various HR policies and processes is advantageous.

What the role is:

You perform the role of a Human Resources (HR) business partner to the relevant stakeholders in the assigned department(s). You will manage the end-to-end career management functions for Defence Executive Officers (DXOs) in these department(s), and act as a career advisor to them on their career progression and developmental needs.

What you will be working on:

• Serve as HR business partner to stakeholders in assigned department(s), providing strategic HR guidance and support
• Manage comprehensive career management functions for DXOs, including career planning, progression pathways, and talent development initiatives
• Provide expert career advisory services to DXOs on their professional development and advancement opportunities
• Review, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures to ensure current best practices and compliance
• Implement effective knowledge management systems and processes for the branch
• Perform secretariat duties for designated Committee, including meeting coordination, documentation, and follow-up actionsChallenge(s)- Balancing the departments' interests with that of the larger organisation's objectives whilst maintaining stakeholder relationships
• Managing increasingly complex and multi-dimensional cases in a thoughtful yet professional and timely manner

What we are looking for:

• Education in Human Resources or a related field
• Prior relevant work experience in human resource or a related field is preferred
• Being conversant with various HR policies and processes is advantageous
• Good problem solving, stakeholder management, communications and analysis skills
• Independent, proactive and able to multi-task(Applicants with no experience may apply.)
