Job summary

VERSANT Media is seeking a Supervising Event Producer to oversee the strategy, development, and flawless execution of our live and virtual events portfolio, including flagship conferences, experiential activations, and digital broadcasts.

You will lead a team of event producers, map master timelines, and drive vendor relationships while aligning with editorial, sales, and marketing goals to maximize brand impact and monetization opportunities.

Qualifications

• Extensive live and virtual event production experience.
• Proven leadership in managing and leading a production team.
• Portfolio of large-scale events spanning multi-track conferences and high-fidelity broadcasts.
• Familiar with modern event tech stacks and project management tools.
• Strong understanding of marketing funnels and audience growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a growing team of event producers and coordinators.
• Own master production timelines, run-of-shows, and contingency plans.
• Collaborate with Editorial, Sales, and Marketing to align events with goals.
• Oversee end-to-end production lifecycle from concept to post-event evaluation.
• Negotiate with venues, AV vendors, and agencies to ensure quality and budget adherence.
