Job summary

OCBC is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Equities Settlements to oversee the timely settlement of equity trades across Singapore and global markets. The role emphasizes BAU operations, risk management, and adherence to regulatory standards within a 100% on-site setup.

You will lead the Equities Settlements team, manage settlement risks and exceptions, and drive process improvements while collaborating with brokers, custodians, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Equities Settlements or Securities Operations.
• Strong understanding of domestic and international settlement practices and market infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end settlement of equity trades across Singapore and international markets.
• Monitor and resolve settlement exceptions, failed trades, and reconciliation breaks within SLIs/KPIs.
• Liaise with brokers, custodians, exchanges, and internal stakeholders to ensure prompt issue resolution.
• Drive continuous process improvements and automation to reduce operational risk.
