Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD is seeking Equipment Technicians to monitor, sustain, and improve semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams across the shift operations group.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic) and is comfortable with a 12-hour rotating shift.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic) preferred.
• Willing to work on 12-hour rotating shifts.
• No experience required; training will be provided.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment to diagnose problems in non-functioning systems.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layouts and manuals.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required.
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
